The BCIC ASSIST CARE CENTRE is a “one stop” centre primarily designed to provide motor insurance claims service from the time of the accident to the settlement of the client's accidental damage claim. |
The Centre is staffed with a team of dedicated professionals, who will ensure excellent service at all times. It utilizes the services of a cadre of Preferred Repairers , who represent some of the main franchise dealers and other top independent garages.
The establishment of the Care Centre follows the introduction of ASSIST ( Accident Scene Security & Insurance Service ) and together they confirm the Company's commitment to offering unique motor insurance services to policyholders.
Where is it?
The first Centre is conveniently located at 9 Caledonia Avenue , Cross Roads, Kingston 5.
Other Centres will be strategically located across the island shortly.
Who Benifits?
BCIC motor vehicle policyholders who have Comprehensive or Third Party Fire and Theft coverage.
When does it Work?
When a vehicle is damaged as a result of a collision, overturning or a fire or a theft or attempted theft or other causes as covered by your insurance policy.
How to Access It?

You can drive the damaged vehicle to the Centre
ASSIST Service Providers can take the vehicle to the Centre.
You can send the vehicle to the Centre using an independent Wrecker Service.

When to Access It?
The Centre is opened and fully staffed Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00a.m – 5:00p.m
Outside these times the Centre will accept the damaged vehicle and provide safe storage; other services will be delivered during official opening hours.

Our Role?
- Monitor the repair of
your vehicle to ensure the quality and timeliness.
- Guarantee some aspects of the repairs.
- Update you regularly on the progress of the repairs.
- Provide Valuation Report to establish
the market value of your vehicle.
- Pay or reimburse you for the cost of Police Report, where
these are required for recovery from Third Parties.

Is There a Charge?
This service is free to all BCIC policyholders whose premiums are fully paid. The Care Centre services and facilities are complementary to BCIC's wide motor policy coverage and high claims handling standards.
